Healthcare education is very rewarding, but it can also be rather costly. To help reduce these costs, there are scholarships currently available through HealthcareSystemCareersEDU.org. Our selection committee names a scholarship recipient on a bi-annual basis. Each winner will receive a $500 scholarship award to put to the cost of healthcare related education.
HealthcareSystemCareersEDU.org Academic Scholarship
The team of professionals at HealthcareSystemCareersEDU.org places great value on healthcare education. In an effort to show just how much we believe in healthcare education, we now offer bi-annual scholarships to deserving students who are currently enrolled in a healthcare degree or certificate program. Our Healthcare Academic Scholarship is based on merit and is open to students who are currently enrolled at a campus. Students who are currently part of an online program are also eligible to receive this scholarship. One condition remains for all applicants: the healthcare related program must be deemed a qualified program. The scholarship is also open to healthcare students at all different stages of the education process. Other requirements are that students must be currently enrolled and only one application per student will be allowed over the course of a 12-month period.
Scholarship Application Deadlines
Students have up until May 1st to apply for the Fall Healthcare Academic Scholarship. The deadline for the Spring scholarship is November 1st. Students may not apply each season and will only be eligible to submit one application every 12 months.
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be enrolled in a healthcare related program. Applications must be submitted to HealthcareSystemCareersEDU.org. Candidates must follow the application instructions, which include the submission of an original essay on the assigned topic. Essays must be a minimum of 800 words in length, but must not exceed 1000 words. Correct formatting is expected on all essays that are submitted.
Applications that contain any type of false information will be disqualified immediately. Plagiarism found in the essay portion will also disqualify an applicant. Each essay is expected to be the original work of the applicant. Applicants will be asked to submit an essay that showcases their ability to fully answer the essay question and provide an ample amount of reasoning and insight.
HealthcareSystemCareersEDU.org has formed a scholarship selection committee that will review and consider each application. Each applicant will be measured by past academic performance, extracurricular activities, history of employment, and the individual essay. Here is a detailed look at the criteria that will be used to select the scholarship winner.
- Completed Registration – Each part of this process must be followed accordingly
- Completed Essay – Essays should be formatted and well-written
- Work History and Activities – These should be legitimate experiences
- GPA (min 3.2 on a 4.0 scale) – The value of academic performance is emphasized

Equal Opportunity Consideration
HealthcareSystemCareersEDU.org does not discriminate in any way based on age, race, sex, religion, disability status or sexual preference. Each individual scholarship applicant will be considered equally. The separating factors among applicants depend on their academic merits, the strength of the essay, the overall application and the collective value of all criteria. The HealthcareSystemCareersEDU.org website has complete discretion in the process of selecting each scholarship winner.
Announcing the Winner
Those who are chosen as the winners of the HealthcareSystemCareersEDU.org scholarship will be notified of that accomplishment within 30 days of the close of the application deadline. Winners will receive a notification via e-mail, as well as through the postal mail. The winning applicant will be asked to provide transcripts from his/her current college or university so that the scholarship committee can verify the GPA. If a winner fails to supply those necessary records, or provides a GPA that differs from what was on the application, then HealthcareSystemCareersEDU.org reserves the right to rescind the scholarship and award it to another qualified applicant.
The scholarship award will be paid directly to a qualifying health education program in the form of $500.00 check. Winners can expect the award to be distributed within 3 months of receiving their winning notification letter.
*Please note that winners who have already made their tuition payments, in full, will have the scholarship funds sent directly to their permanent mailing address in the form of a check.
